Aina, the fashion focus boutique of TNS clothing is holding a three-day summer exhibition of designer wears for women from March 27 at Bharat Tourist Home (BTH) here.
Aina showcases a diversified and rare collection of custom made salwars, suits and duppattas. Hand dyed and block printed, they come in Cotton, Bhagalpur, Chanderi, Maheswari and Tussar. The traditional wears assumes cool and comfortable forms which works best for sweltering summer.The signature collections are brought with custom made embroidery works at strategic positions done by traditional craftsmen from Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and various other states in India, said Naeem Shahul, textile engineer with Aina Exhibitions. The prizes of slawars and suits start from `1,500/-.
Then there are tempting collection of dupattas carrying masterpieces in Kashmiri Aari embroidery which are available in vibrant hues as well as in sober shades. These dupattas represents the evolution of North Indian traditional motifs with a distinct Kashmiri flavour.The exhibition is on till March 29.
