State Legal Service Authority Conducts Quiz

KOCHI: The Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA) on Saturday organised a state-level quiz for students of higher secondary schools in the State on the topic ‘Legal Awareness,’ at the Kerala High Court.

The team comprising S Parvathy, Mary Ann and G Sreelekshmi of Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Cotton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, won the first prize in the competition.

Kannadi Higher Secondary School, Palakkad, which was represented by U Suryanath and Nivedita Ajith, won the second prize in the competition.

Karishma Suresh, Gaadha Aanand and K V Sreehari of St Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Thalassery, came in the third position.

KELSA executive chairman Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan distributed prizes to the winning teams. KELSA member secretary C Jayachandran, who is District Judge, also attended the function.

The first, second and third prizes were Rs 7,500, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively, and ever rolling trophy.
