KOCHI:An expo to sensitise the public and authorities on the importance of hygiene and health will be held at TDM hall here on August 10. The event - ‘Susthithi’- is being organised by Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College Alumni Association and Better Kochi Response Group (BKRG).

The Suchitwa Mission under the Local Self-Government Department (LSGD) is also associating with the programme, which will be inaugurated by Finance Minister Thomas Isaac. The valedictory event will be attended by Agriculture Minister V K Sunil Kumar on August 12.

As part of the event, exhibitions, seminars, panel discussions and competitions for students and public will be held. Public sector companies like IOC, BPCL, Coir Board and CIAL along with private companies like Cera and V-Guard are supporting the event.
