Kerala: Ernakulam district bags SKOCH award

KOCHI:  The district administration bagged the SKOCH Smart Governance Award for successfully implementing various development projects. The award was announced at the 52nd SKOCH conference that was held at Delhi the other day.  The district snagged the award for its flagship projects Roshini and e-Jagrata. 

Roshini project aims to help children belonging to migrant labourers get an education while e-Jagrata was launched to digitally empower school students and guide them against falling into the pitfalls in the world of internet.  The award has been constituted by SKOCH an autonomous, policy oriented, policy think tank.
