The welfare team ‘Sparsham’ at NeST Software will conduct an awareness walk on Friday to create awareness about blood donation within the Technopark community.
The awareness walk will be flagged off by cine actor and RCC brand ambassador Suresh Gopi at 10 am. With the slogan, ‘Give the gift of life; Donate Blood’, coined by the WHO and UN, the World Blood Donor Day is celebrated all over the world with different events.
Around 200 volunteers from different companies are expected to participate in this walk to show the importance of blood donation in saving lives. Sparsham will also be distributing leaflets and pamphlets showing the safety and benefits of blood donation.
Sparsham team had organised four blood camps last year in Technopark in association with RCC and other hospitals. Sparsham also undertakes welfare activities at nearby schools and orphanages throughout the year.
