Mobile agriculture clinics to be flagged off

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will flag off the mobile agri clinics on Monday with the aim of agriculture officials spreading the new techniques of farming to farmers. Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan will attend the function at Chandrashekaran Nair stadium at 1.30 pm.

Under the scheme, Agriculture officials will reach the farm lands and provide information on modern farming techniques to the farmers. Apart from this, the officials will examine  the soil, crop diseases, provide information on agriculture loans, price of crops, marketing, climate change, availability of agriculture machinery and its repair. This will help in the officials regularly visiting the farmers and give technical assistance to farmers.
