FIITJEE’s Talent Reward Exam

Students preparing for next year’s JEE examination will get an opportunity to gauge their level of preparedness at the Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) to be conducted by the institute for engineering entrance training ‘FIITJEE’ on June 9.

 FIITJEE aims to help the IIT-JEE aspirants realise where they stand in competition with their peers as they gear up for the actual Joint Entrance Examination for entrance to top engineering colleges. Based on their performance students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) for JEE (Advanced), which will help them know their chances of success in securing a seat in the IITs and bridge the gap in their preparation for JEE 2014. Based on their performance students will also get suggestions to plug loopholes to enable them better their conceptual understanding and analytical ability.

 Students securing a rank in Top 500 in the exam will get a certificate of achievement and will also get free online doubt removal support to help them in their preparation, irrespective of whether they join FIITJEE or not. ‘’Moreover, the top 500 meritorious students will also receive cash scholarships, tuition fee waiver for FIITJEE programme as well as hostel fee waiver on the basis of their performance.

Besides, all students appearing for FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam will also be entitled to a workshop on Science of Success in JEE (Advanced) conducted under expert guidance at select cities,’’ a release said.

 The examination will be held this year across more than 100 test centres in India.

The last date to register is June 7, 2013 and the registration fee for the exam varies from Rs 250 to Rs 1,000 depending upon when and how the students apply. Students can register for FTRE through online and offline modes.

 The programme will also highlight important time management techniques and revision strategies to achieve optimum performance. A scientifically researched workbook, ‘The Art of Self-Analysis’, will be provided. The FTRE result will be announced online on June 17.
