VIJAYAWADA: World Archery Silver Medallist Vennam Jyothi Surekha met Krishna District Collector B Lakshmikantham at his camp office.
The collector felicitated the ace archer for securing a silver medal.
Vennem Jyoti Surekha stood second in the 49th World Archery Championship held on October 21 in Mexico and clinched the silver medal.
Collector Lakshmikantham congratulated her. He further asked her to bring more laurels for the State and be an inspiration to many upcoming sports enthusiasts.
