Adopt new teaching models, faculty advised

VIJAYAWADA: SRM University, Amaravati, and University of Texas held a joint meeting for collaborations in the field of genomics and proteomics and establishment of ‘Centre for Additive Manufacturing’ on Monday. Professor Vistasp Karbhari, president of the Texas varsity, visited the former recently and made an elaborate presentation on academic and research activities taken up by his institution.

 He also suggested to take up mutual collaborations on research activities and advised the faculty to adopt new teaching models such as introduction of audio and video classes. “These researches will be useful to the society as it will provide solutions in the fields of health, transport, construction of metro cities and environment,” Karbhari explained.
