VIJAYAWADA:   A model Anganwadi centre Krishna district administration developed in Atkur for over `13 lakh will be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu soon. Similar centres are going to come up in four other places across the district.

As of now there are 3,812 centres across the district. Out of those, 2,640 centres have their own buildings and the rest are running in private spaces. As many as 450 Anganwadis are being constructed in the district for `6 lakh by district administration, with the support of Tata trust as CSR activity, in order to ensure all centres have their own buildings. Apart from the centres which are being built by the Tata trust group, district authorities are coming up with their own set of model centres with high-end facilities.
