VIJAYAWADA: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav stated that healthy industrial relations have enabled SCR to emerge as the best performer in Indian Railways.

Speaking on the first day of the 5th Triennial General Council and 48th Annual General Council Meeting of South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) held at Thummalapalli Kalakshethram here on Monday, he said that the commitment, team spirit, solidarity, sincerity and hard-working nature of the work force on South Central Railway is unmatched.

He lauded the efforts of Ch Shankar Rao, who shouldered the responsibility of SCRMU with fervour, enabling development of healthy and cordial industrial relations. Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra  General Secretary-AIRF, New Delhi was the chief guest on the occasion. The SCR has conducted a job mela for wards of railway employees and passport mela for the employees and their families, Yadav said.
