For 22-year-old Madhuri Bisarahalli, a psychology student and an MNC employee, the journey with her bike-Orra (Royal Enfield Thunderbird) began about 18 months ago. Madhuri says, "More than inspiration, it was the curiosity that drew me towards riding. The more I was forbidden from riding a bike because I am a girl, the more it inspired me and heightened my curiosity towards the machine.” She has clocked 7000 odd km on Orra in five months.

Talking about her 1500kms Goa trip she says, “It taught me a lot about riding. It was one hell of a trip and a dream come true for me. Riding all the way to Goa in one day, attending the India Bike Week and being a part of the only all female riding club in India (The Bikerni), was just legendary. More than a memorable trip, I would call it the first milestone in my biking journey,” Madhuri points out.

The youngster’s personal agenda is to travel across India and other countries in her favourite bike — Orra. Talking about the factors that keeps her going, Madhuri says that she counts on the strength and the courage that her parents provide.
