HYDERABAD: Congress on Tuesday said it would release an annual report on the status of its manifesto’s implementation if it was voted to power. The party plans to put in place a citizens’ committee to review the manifesto.

“The main reason for the Telangana movement was unemployment, but KCR has not filled government job vacancies. When we announced Rs 3,000  stipend for unemployed youth, copycat KCR said he would give `3,116. Id this an auction? The manifesto has become a joke for KCR,” Telangana Congress in-charge RC Khuntia told media persons after officially releasing the party’s manifesto at Gandhi Bhavan.

The list of promises includes Rs 2 lakh loan waiver for farmers at one go, filling up of one lakh jobs vacancies etc. “KCR has never kept his promises, but we will,” Khuntia said.
