LOS ANGELES: Actress Sandra Bullock has dragged a watch company to court after it allegedly used her name to promote a diamond-encrusted watch. The 47-year-old actress has filed a lawsuit in Santa Monica, California, against ToyWatch USA for using her name to promote the white-band watch.

Bullock claimed that it is being advertised as the same gadget she wore in her Oscar-winning role in 2009 movie 'The Blind Side'.

She said her publicity rights have been infringed and she's now asking for financial compensation, as well as an injunction, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

According to the lawsuit, Bullock "will not voluntarily appear in print or other media for a company or product unless she carefully selects and believes in the company and product, and unless the compensation she receives is commensurate with the value of the exploitation of her name, image, identity, and persona".
