Tom Holland pens tribute to 'Spider-Man' co-creator Steve Ditko

WASHINGTON: The reel 'Spider-Man', added his voice to the chorus paying tributes to 'Spider-Man' co-creator Steve Ditko after the news of his death.

The current Peter Parker in the Marvel Universe, took to Twitter to thank the late artist, who was recently found dead at his New York home.

He wrote, ''We all want to leave our mark on the world - this guy crushed it. He made so many people so happy and changed lives - most of all, mine! Thank you, Steve - your life lives on man, thank you.''

Ditko was the creator of 'Spider-Mans' costume, the web-shooters, the red and blue design and all of it.

He was also one of the founding fathers of Marvel Comics along with Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Marvel Entertainment also paid tribute to the legend, writing, "Thank you, Steve. Rest in Peace"

Ditko maintained a studio Manhattan until his death, where he continued to write and draw, though how much, and what unpublished material remains, is unknown.
