A friend indeed!

Express News Service

Brahmaputra is a film produced by Golden media and Nila enterprises. Written and directed by Thomas, the project was dropped midway by the producer, sending Thomas into depression. But the director’s friend Nerkundram T Rupas, a businessman, seems to have lent a helping hand and helped him complete the film.

After watching the incomplete film, Rupas understood Thomas’s situation and decided to help, when many others refused to support him.  Brahmaputra narrates the importance of friendship through a different screenplay.

Speaking about the turn of events, Thomas said, “I sought help from many, but none was ready to help. Rupas was the only person I didn’t seek help from, but he himself came forward to help, understanding my plight. Only when you undergo a tough situation will you know who your real friend is.” Actor Udayathara plays an important role in the film, which has music scored by Sunil Xavier.
