Irrfan Khan is currently busy promoting his next Hindi Medium and the actor is soon set to take off to the US for the shoot of his next Hollywood project. He has been roped in by Big Beach Films, who have produced Oscar-winning film Little Miss Sunshine.
The film will be helmed by the co-partner of Big Beach Mark Turtletaub. Puzzle is an adaptation of the Argentine film Rompecabezas which released in 2010.
Irrfan plays the lead alongside renowned actress Kelly Macdonald , who has done films like Trainspotting, Boardwalk Empire.The film tells the tale of a woman, who is consumed for caring for the men in her family. When she discovers she has a gift for assembling puzzles, her world begins to open and her entire family is forced to adjust and grow as well. Irrfan will soon leave for New York to begin work on the project which will last for almost a month in June.
Confirming the news, Irrfan said, “I’m really looking forward to working with the team who have been associated with great films like Little Miss Sunshine, Loving and many more. My co-actors have an incredible array of work and I’m happy to soon be working with someone as talented as Kelly Macdonald. We will begin work in June.”
