Though Darshan and Ganesh have not acted together but the latter has lent his voice to Ganesh's 25th film Buguri. Darshan will be heard at the end of the film as a narrator and will talk about love and achievement. Director MD Sridhar says, "The Thoogudeepa family and I have a long standing relationship and I have directed films like Pokri and Bulbul for Darshan. And, when I thought of getting a voice-over for my first project as a producer and Ganesh's 25th film, I only thought of Darshan. I expressed my wish to him and he readily agreed. It is all done out of the good relationship we have maintained. There is a message conveyed through his voice, which basically says whether in this fast-paced lifestyle, love should be prioritised over achievement or not,"

he film is all ready and will be distributed under the Thoogudeepa banner. MD Sridhar is now getting ready for a July end or an August release. Buguri also sees Erica Fernandes and Richa Panai in the lead roles.
