Puneeth Sings for Charity

The money from the star’s singing assignments has funded a charitable trust running under his father’s name

Having lent his voice to about 45 songs, actor Puneeth Rajkumar doe not refrain from picking the mike whenever requested. Establishing himself as a promising singer and considered to have a ‘lucky’ voice for many producers, the actor’s singing pursuit has now been revealed to be attached to a social cause. 

The money that comes in from his musical pursuits is directed towards a charitable trust being run under his father’s name. According to producer N S Rajkumar’s, who also looks after Puneeth’s film works, says, “Till date, every penny out of his singing assignments has gone to  charity. Every cheque is deposited to the trust and is used for the education of children. In fact, one student has even become a doctor and this year, a girl student has succeeded in getting admission for her M Tech course,” says Rajkumar.
