Mungaru male 2 music

Director Shashank plans to bring out an audio teaser, a first-of-its-kind in Sandalwood.

Mungaru Maleye enu nina hanigala leele/ Kunidu kunidu baare/ Anisuthide yaako indu... all songs from Mungaru Male have been favourites of our times. So when Mungaru Male 2 was decided, director Shashank along with music director Arjun Janya had a big challenge. They had to conceive music far away from the routine because the franchise is set in extremes; Mungaru Male recorded the highest box office collections in the history of Kannada cinema and currently holds the record for the longest running film at a multiplex.

No wonder then that Shashank has planned a first-of-its-kind launch in Kannada industry. He is all set to release an audio teaser this Sunday, before he decides on the actual release of the audio. “I am feeding myself a lot of ideas and trying to bring out a mechanism so that the music reaches far and wide. I am working on a three-minute teaser which will also consist of many details of the album. While the teaser will have glimpses of each song from the film, it will also give out details of the singers, lyricists and the kind of music that has gone into each song, and the musicians behind the album,” explains Shashank.

The director and team, currently finalising the audio company, also plan to announce the audio release date on the day of release of the teaser.

“There is a lot of expectation from us with the songs of Mungaru Male 2 since the build-up of the film brings responsibility, opportunity and a passionate duty,” he says and adds that the audio teaser can be considered  an invitation and a temptation so that the audience can get ready for the songs.

“Our cinema teaser created a buzz beyond expectations and we hope to get the same response with the audio teaser and the songs,” he mentions.

Along with Ganesh and Neha Shetty in the lead, the film’s highlight will be Ravichandran, who plays the father’s character of Ganesh. Mungaru Male 2 is produced by G Gangadhar and has Aindrita Ray in a pivotal role along with Ravi Shankar and Sadhu Kokila. Shekar Chandra is the cinematographer.
