Rishi, who proved his talent in his very first film Operation Alamelamma, is much in demand. Various filmmakers are expressing interest to work with this young actor, who on his part is taking time to pick the right script. The actor is currently shooting for his second film, Hemanth M Rao’s Kavalu Daari, and his third will be a leg-up for Rishi. He will be working with Tamil actor Dhanush’s production house Wunderbar Films, who will partner with Jacob Films for this project.
This will be the directorial debut of Islahuddin. Sources say, “Wunderbar Films has been wanting to enter Sandalwood for a while now, and they have zeroed in on the right project”. Interestingly Dhanush will present the film. The script is currently being worked on and an official announcement is soon expected from the production house. Our source says, “Rishi, who is glad to associate with Dhanush’s production house, has given the green signal for the project and is working out his dates.” We are yet to know if this movie will be inspired by other films made under this banner; or perhaps it could be a whole new subject. What would also be interesting to see is how the association between the production house and the actor will pan out. Apart from this, Rishi has projects lined up with Jayanna Combines and another with Shashank Productions.
