Diwakar, runner-up of Bigg Boss Kannada season 5 is making leaps and bounds in his acting career. The common man in the reality show has caught the attention of a few filmmakers. Among them is J Chandrakala, director of the Manoranjan starrer Chillum, who has brought the newcomer on board. He will be playing a friend of Manoranjan’s, and will be bringing comedy elements through his role. We will also get to see his negative side in the film, and will be seen alongside the hero throughout.
Diwakar was a salesman before Bigg Boss. Now, his stint in Sandalwood will only take him up the ladder. The makers are bringing in an interesting cast, which includes Raghavendra Rajkumar who will be making a comeback as a villain. Saritha is also going to be part of the cast.
The makers are planning for a grand muhurath in April, and are currently looking for the right heroine for their film. The team is also said to be approaching Nana Patekar and Kishore for important roles.
