A Sharadhaa

Priyanka Thimmesh seems to be making the right moves and carefully picking her projects. She has almost completed shoots for three films, including her Malayalam debut and two Kannada films. Having waited a while for a good script to come her way and in fact, it has helped her grab a good flick.

Priyanka’s next after Bheemasena Nala Maha

Raja will be seen in a Manoranjan starrer titled Chillum. The makers considered Priyanka after the audition, as they felt she fit the bill for the female lead.

The Ganapa heroine says she is excited to be on board for Chillum, a film produced by M Gopal under MG entertainments, that has brought back actors Raghavendra Rajkumar and Saritha in pivotal roles. While she reveals that the film will be first of its genre for the Kannada industry,  the thought of working with woman director J Chandrakala, added to the excitement, says Priyanka.

“I personally liked the way director Chandrakala narrated the script. I visualised each scene as she read out my character. I also felt that the film demands a strong performance from all the artists. When I stepped out of the audition, I went back home with a feeling that I should not miss this film,” she adds.
Priyanka, who is for the first time being paired opposite Manoranjan is also thrilled to share screen space with senior actors Raghavendra Rajkumar and Saritha, She has completed the shoot of her Malayalam film, Kayamkulam Kochunni and has a song shoot pending for Kannada films — John Cena directed by Suni and 7 days of schedule for Karthik Saragur’s Bheemasena Nala Maha Raja.

Having also made her mark in Tamil, she now awaits the release of her two untitled films which she says will have more details, once Kollywood calls off the strike.
