Raghavendra Rajkumar returns to silverscreen as lead hero

The news of Raghavendra Rajkumar returning to silver screen has brought cheer to his fans and fraternity alike.  While he’s thrilled to pursue his first love—acting—  the Nanjundi Kalyana actor, who is making a comeback as an antagonist in Chandrakala’s Chillum, is all set to play the lead in Nikhil Manju’s next, Ammana Mane.The muhurath is on August 15, which happens to be Raghavendra Rajkumar’s  birthday.

On the same day, they plan to reveal more details on the film including the cast members and technicians. 
Nikhil, a national award-winning director for his film, Reservation, confirmed to City Express that he is helming the film with Raghavendra Rajkumar. “It is a family drama, which looks at work, life and family balance.

In his role, Raghavendra Rajkumar has to play the role of a man who has to finely balance his work pressure and keep his family happy,” says Nikhil, adding, “This is going to be a multi-starrer and we’ve got a verbal agreement from the artistes. An official announcement will be made once we bring them all on board.”Nikhil Manju is currently helming IAS Kanasu, a story on senior IAS officer Shalini Rajneesh. This film features Sonu Gowda in the lead and has music by Sameer Kulkarni. Currently, the film is in the post-production stage.
