Jayasurya in ‘Pigman’

The actor will don the role of a pig rearer in director Avira Rebecca’s new film; shooting begins this month.

KOCHI: Actor Jayasurya will be doing the role of a pig rearer in his new film.

Directed by Avira Rebecca, the movie, reportedly named ‘Pigman’ tells the story of a young man who is a doctorate aspirant, but spends his days at a pig farm. Avira’s earlier film ‘Thakarachenda’ was critically much-acclaimed.

‘Pigman’ will be scripted by N Prabhakaran, and the cinematography will be by Pradeep Nair. Prabhakaran had earlier written the script for the National Award winning film Pulijanmam. The movie will be produced by T R Sreeraj under the banner of Sreeraj Films. The shoot of the film will start in April.
