The digital rights of the most successful Malayalam film of this year so far, Sudani from Nigeria, have been bought by Netflix. The film is still running successfully in theatres. It recently completed its 100-day run.

Directed by debutant Zakariya, Sudani portrays the heartwarming friendship between an African football player (Samuel Abiola Robinson) and his manager (Soubin Shahir). The film was an instant hit with audiences and earned raves from all corners.

Sudani is Samuel Abiola Robinson's first Malayalam film. He will be next seen in a negative role in a film titled Purple. Meanwhile. Soubin Shahir is preparing his second directorial venture. He made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Parava.
