Director Shrikumar Menon has announced that the final schedule of Odiyan has been completed. Shrikumar took to his Twitter handle to thank all the members of the Odiyan team for lending their support. The film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas, comes out on December 14.
Mohanlal kickstarted the film's unique marketing campaign at PVR Lulu by unveiling the life-size statue of Odiyan Manickyan, the character played by him. These "desi superhero" statues are expected to be launched in the coming days in 50 major theatres across the state.
Apart from Mohanlal, Odiyan also stars Manju Warrier, Prakash Raj, Siddique, Innocent, Manoj Joshi, Naren, Nandhu, Kailas, and Sana Althaf.
Music is by M Jayachandran and Sam C S. Shaji Kumar is the cinematographer and Johnkutty the editor—both have worked previously on Pulimurugan. Peter Hein is the stunt director.
