HE'S most widely known as the composer of interesting pacy numbers like 'Kathazha Kannaala' and 'Kannadasan Karaikudi'. But music composer Sundar C Babu, who is the son of veteran Veena player Chitti Babu says melodies are a must in his music.

“Even an otherwise fast-paced album like 'Anjadhey' will have a melody like 'Manasukkul'. Fast songs might be the order of the day, but there is always a reception for melodious numbers,” says the composer who is awaiting the release of 'Nadodigal'. “The audio of the film has picked up well, and we are waiting for the film’s release, scheduled for June 26.

Apart from these, Sundar C Babu is working on 'Meikaan' with Arjun, 'Agam Puram' with Shaam and 'Agarathi', featuring new comers. “Tamil cinema is my priority and I am not doing films in any other language,” he says.
