Chiyaan Vikram has been selected as the Youth Envoy for the ‘UN Habitat’ (United Nations Human Settlement Programme). As an ‘Actor Youth Icon’. As part of the role he will spread the message and work towards fulfilling the goals of the UN. Vikram is part of the Asian Contingent and is one of only four Youth Emissaries selcted from across the globe. He has been invited for the 23rd Governing Council meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. The convention that began on April 11 will end on April 15. Vikram was quoted as saying that he felt honoured to be a part of the prestigious organisation working towards the eradication of poverty worldwide.
