Maestro Ilayaraja's wife passes away

Jeeva Ilayaraja suffered a cardiac arrest and was declared 'brought dead' by the doctors of Apollo Hospital.

CHENAI: Veteran Tamil music director Ilayaraja’s wife Jeeva died on Monday following a heart attack, hospital sources said. Jeeva, 60, was declared brought dead on arrival at the Apollo Hospitals, sources said.

Jeeva is survived by her husband Ilayaraja, sons Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja, and daughter Bhavatharini.
