The soundtrack of composer Thaman’s bilingual Thadaiyara Thaaka, his project after the successful Kadhalil Sodhappavudhu Eppadi, is ready to hit stores on May 2. To be launched at a glitzy event in true filmy fashion, the album will have five numbers, according to Arun Vijay who plays the lead in the movie.

“Only three songs will be part of the movie. One is an unplugged version and the other is a theme song,” says Arun.

Besides a song Kekamalae Kemalae which will be a melody, the album will have the kuthu song Poondhamalledhan Pushpa Vallidhan sung by Arun along with LR Easwari. Apart from the songs, Thaman seems to have taken extra effort for background score as well. “The movie requires a solid background score and Thaman has been successful in delivering it. For Thaman, the movie has been a different attempt,” adds Arun. Mamta Mohandas, who is paired with Arun in the film, is abroad, and might give the audio launch a miss.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Thadaiyara Thaaka is an action thriller that revolves around three key characters.
