Koothu to release in October

Actor Vimal’s next, titled Koothu, has actors Prasanna, Richard, Bharani, Arundhati and Nandhagi in important roles, and is set to hit screens in October.

Directed by Padmamagan, who has Ammuvagiya Naan to his credit, the movie is said to have been shot in the dense forests of the southern states and is said to have a unique screenplay.

Rehhan has scored music while Dinesh Sre has canned the sequences. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics.

Koothu marks actor Vimal’s second multi-starrer for the year after Kalakalappu. The trend will be followed in director Vasanth’s Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal, C S Amudhan’s Rendavathu Padam and Pandiraj’s Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, in which he will share screen space with other actors.
