Actor Parthepan has always dared to experiment in his films. And this time, the actor has chosen a different title for his upcoming project. Titled Aappu, the film is an action-thriller.
Talking about the film, the actor-cum-director says, “The word Aappu has been misused by us. Actually, the word in Tamil dictionary means a wedge used to break big logs of wood. Because of the wrong usage of the word, the title was rejected at first. However, I have given necessary details on the title and the meaning of it.”
This film will be a bilingual.It will be shot both in Tamil and Telugu.
The actor, who is currently working on the script, says, “The film is still in the pre-production stage. I have not decided on the cast and crew. Also, I will not be able to direct the film as I already have too many projects to complete. So, I will have another director to direct this film under my production. At present, I will be doing one of the lead roles in the film. I am also looking for another actor who can play the second lead, a character that is completely in contrast to my role.”
Meanwhile, the actor confirms that the story of Aappu will address the current problems prevailing in society.
