Pondicherry Awards Kuttram Kadithal

Director Bramma’s film Kuttram Kadithal has added yet another feather to its cap. The film has now won the Shankaradas Award by the Pondicherry Government for Best Feature film. Talking to City Express, director Bramma said, “It is true. We have won the Shankaradas Award from the Puducherry government. The award is named after eminent theatre personality Shankaradas Swamigal. It consists of a citation and a cash prize of `1 lakh.” The Puducherry Chief Minister will present the award to the team on October 15 in Puducherry. This is the third award the film has won. It has been invited to participate in a number of international film festivals, including Cannes. The other two awards that the film has won are the National Award for Best Feature Film and the Best Feature Film at the Chennai Film Festival.
