Allegations against Vikram are baseless

Express News Service

Prakash M Swamy, president of the US Tamil Sangam took to Facebook recently, accusing Vikram of his behaviour, where the latter was invited along with Abhishek Bachchan and Baba Ramdev at the 36th India Day Parade organised by the Federation of Indian Associations — New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Prakash alleged that Vikram kept talking on the phone and avoided meeting his fans. He criticised Chiyaan and called his behaviour ‘shameful’. He also said that the Tamil community in New York was ‘disappointed’ with Vikram.

Responding to the controversial statements, Vikram’s spokesperson clarified that those were baseless. In an official statement, Federation of Indian Association, New York said, “We were shocked to see a recent vituperative social media post by Prakash M Swamy, and we would like to categorically state that nothing in that post is true but rather a figment of his imagination. We’re thankful to Vikram for making the event memorable.”
