Word has it that composer Anirudh will be a part of Vijay 62, to be directed by AR Murugadoss, but our source says, “Talks are still on and he is not on board yet.” In a recent interview, the composer said, “Let the official announcement come.”
The untitled flick, to be produced by Sun Pictures, marks the actor and filmmaker’s third collaboration after Thuppakki and Kaththi.
Anirudh is currently wrapping up work on the album of Ajith’s Vivegam, which is expected to be launched soon. The young composer is also gearing up for his concert in the US, which is scheduled in September.
Vijay, meanwhile, is shooting for his upcoming film, Mersal, with director Atlee.
The big-ticket film is produced by Sri Thenandal Films. Murugadoss, who is to work on Vijay 62, is meanwhile completing his maiden project with Mahesh Babu, Spyder, which will mark the latter’s debut in Tamil.
