It has been reported recently that Telugu producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao has bought the Telugu rights of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya starrer Tamil movie Endhiran. Rao claimed to have got the Telugu rights of Robo at a record amount of Rs 27 crore. But, the makers of the movie have now denied selling the rights to the producer.

Rao announced that he would be releasing the movie under his banner ‘Sri Tirumala Tirupathi Venkateshwara Films’ in Andhra Pradesh. The fantasy flick movie’s Telugu right was in high demand and the makers did not want to sell it less than Rs 30 crore.

SUN Pictures officials have clarified the issue immediately saying that they have not sold the Telugu rights yet to anyone. It is known that Rao has given only a token amount and in a few days the actual settlement will take place.

On the other hand, Rao maintains that he is expecting to reach the final agreement very soon as he has already paid an advance.

There is a buzz that, the release of the Tamil version Endhiran has also been postponed due to the last minute patchwork. Now, it will release on September 24 in 2000 screens worldwide.
