NTR Jr's Next Postponed after Financial Crunch

Suhas Yellapantula

Looks like fans of NTR Jr have to wait for a wee bit longer to see him in action as the shooting of the actor’s forthcoming yet-untitled film with director Sukumar has been postponed indefinitely. Sources close to the production house reveal that though the film was supposed to go on floors from June 17, it has been put off due to financial issues.

The film is being produced by BVSN Prasad of Chatrapati and Attarintiki Daredi fame, but word on the T-street is that the producer is currently bankrupt, due to which shoot for the film has been delayed. Director Sukumar will be looking to redeem himself after his previous psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine failed to set the cash registers ringing. NTR Jr, meanwhile, will be looking to replicate the success of Temper, which released earlier this year.

Touted as a stylish-revenge drama, the yet-untitled-film also features Rakul Preet Singh.
