'Spider-Man: No Way Home' trailer breakdown: Decoding Sinister Six, Marvel Multiverse & more

We don't know if we will see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire alongside Tom Holland. But we do know  Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus is coming for Peter Parker. Sony has finally dropped the much-awaited teaser trailer of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and it is too much comprehend in one sitting. While a lot more remains unclear of the post-Tony Stark era MCU movie, here are a few bits and pieces that we were able to decode.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR: Thanks to Mysterio, the world now knows who Spiderman is. Young Peter has fought alongside the master wizard who he knows might be able to help him reverse time so that he can make people forget his superhero identity. And so the madness (ring any bells?) begins! (YouTube screengrab)
'CAN'T SOME PEOPLE STILL KNOW?': While Dr Strange is in the middle of casting a dangerous spell against Wong's warning, Peter have second thoughts as everyone including his best buddy, Aunt May and girlfriend forgetting about his avatar. He starts ranting against Stephen's warning and tampers the spell. (YouTube screengrab)
We don't know how exactly yet, but the spell gets messed up, launching the chaos of the multiverse. Either Spiderman gets to travel across the Marvel Spiderverse or players collide with his world -- initiating a sequence of events that no superhero wish to face. (YouTube screengrabs)
Also, why is it snowing inside Sanctum Sanctorum? Only the movie can tell... (YouTube screengrabs)
SINISTER SIX: Seems like Sony has finally decided to give the supervillain league a go. Sinister Six is an unholy alliance of bad guys who consider Spiderman their arch-nemesis. Doctor Octopus often leads the gang in comics that also include Vulture, Electro, Mysterio, Sandman and Kraven the Hunter. (Image courtesy: Twitter)
GREEN GOBLIN: The pumpkin bomb and sinister cackle is plenty to identify who is coming for Peter Parker... Although not a part of the original Sinister Six, it is now proven that Green Goblin is part of the gang. The questions that need to be answered now are who is he going to replace in the team and is it going to be Willem Dafoe on the flying board once again. (YouTube screengrab)
We hear Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus say “hello, Peter” with a sinister smile as the trailer cuts to Tom suiting up. The Multiverse concept makes us wonder is it a face-off between Molina and Holland, or, a possible confrontation with his old foe Toby Maguire. (YouTube screengrab)
Interestingly, Doctor Octopus' appearance happens in the backdrop of an explosion, suggesting that Green Goblin is already in alliance with Dr Otto. Is it going to be a two against one battle, or will we see more entrants on either side? Fingers crossed! (YouTube screengrab)
ELECTRO: Lightning bolts blowing up police cars means only one man. 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' was really what the fans asked for. Yet, this could be the moment of resurgence for Jamie Foxx’s Electro alongside the other villains. (YouTube screengrab)
