Firecrackers ban: Here are the dos and don'ts

Only licensed retailers should sell firecrackers (File | EPS)

Crackers can be burst only between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Diwali and between 11:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on New Year and Christmas eve. (File | EPS)

Only crackers that are within noise pollution limits set in July 2005 verdict should be manufactured and sold. (File | EPS)
