Ashok Parnami Elected as Rajasthan BJP Chief for Second Time

BJP leader Ashok Parnami was relected as the party's Rajasthan chief for the second consecutive term in the organisational election completed.

JAIPUR: BJP leader Ashok Parnami was relected as the party's Rajasthan chief for the second consecutive term in the organisational election completed here today.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Home Minister G C Kataria and Education Minister K C Saraf had proposed and filed the nomination papers of Parnami, who was the only candidate to file nomination for the post yesterday.

Central observer of the party, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, made the announcement today along with declaring the results of the election to the posts of 25 state and central party functionaries.

Parnami, the BJP MLA from Jaipur's Adarsh Nagar constituency, is known to be Raje's loyalist.
