Arunachal chief minister Pema Khandu was suspended from People's Party of Arunachal along with the deputy chief minister and five MLAs for their alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

The five suspended MLAs are  Zingnu Namchom (Namsai), Passang Dorjee Sona (Mechuka), Chow Tewa Mein (Chowkham), Jambey Tashi (Lumla)and Kamlung Mossang (Miao). 

Khandu who replaced Nabam Tuki became the CM of the state on July 16 after months of political turmoil.
