PANAJI: The Congress in Goa on Wednesday suggested that name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi be recorded in the Guinness World of Record.

In a letter written to Guinness World Records authorities, copies of which were shared with media, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) and spokesperson Sankalp Amonkar, ''We are overwhelmed and extremely happy to suggest the name of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has set the world record."

The letter further said that the Prime Minister has correctly used the resources of India and had set the record of making 41 trips to 52 countries in his tenure of four years. He has already spent an expenditure of Rs 355,30,38,465 and has become a role model for the future generation of India.

Sankalp further added, ''We would like to inform you that in his tenure the value of Indian Rupee skidded to Rs 69.03 against the US Dollar, making the Indian currency most vulnerable and worst performing currencies in Asia. It will give us immense pleasure if you will consider the name of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the above-mentioned act,"
