Long before he joined two of the 21st century’s most important companies namely Google and Facebook and became famous as their product director, Prashant Fuloria was a well known face in the Delhi musical scene, first as the founder of the award winning IIT Delhi rock band Rehash, then as a guitar player in Euphoria, the famous Delhi-based band. Prashant achieved all this while a student at IIT Delhi, where he received the President’s Gold Medal. To top it up, he joined the Stanford University, where he got a PhD and MA in Business, a PhD Minor in Operations Research and an MS in Statistics. While he started his career as a Senior Product Manager at Closedloop Solutions, his big break came when was made the Product Management Director at a then small search engine called Google. In the next six years at Google, he worked on some of the most important Google products like AdWords, took care of Google’s global billing & payments, and worked on many monetization products. He quit Google while managing the companies products for the Asia-Pacific Region to work for Facebook, which was exactly at the same stage as Google when he joined it. There he worked on many of Facebook’s commerce products like Facebook Credits. Now, Prashant is the Chief Product Officer of Flurry, a mobile app analytics firm. He is also a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
