Vivo India on Monday launched a new smart phone called V7, priced at Rs 18,990, which will go on sale from November 25.

NEW DELHI: Vivo India on Monday launched a new smart phone called V7, priced at Rs 18,990, which will go on sale from November 25. It features a 5.7-inch (18:9) display, 4GB RAM, 32GB memory, 24MP front and 16MP rear camera, and 3,000 mAh battery.

The company said it would focus on introducing the right products in the Indian market. “Our focus is that we get the right products to the Indian market and at the right price. It is about building customer experience,” said Vivo India’s chief marketing officer Kenny Zeng.

Vivo is introducing feature-packed devices with its latest handset with face recognition technology, keeping in view the latest demands of customers.

Zeng said the company would invest wherever necessary and the strong line-up of products has given it acceptance in the Indian market. “We are confident of doing well,” Zeng added.

According to IDC estimates, Vivo is at the fourth slot in India as of the third quarter of 2017. The company with a full-fledged manufacturing unit in Greater Noida has expanded its distribution network across the country and makes its products available both online and offline. Vivo is also the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League cricket.
