NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be back in Gujarat Monday in line with his intensive pre-poll tour of the state to address a massive show of strength of party workers. While the decision of the Election Commission to withhold announcement of dates of polling in Gujarat kicked off a major controversy, anticipation is rife that Modi could unveil a slew of measures to please the electorate.

The Prime Minister will be addressing a BJP workers’ meeting at a village near Gandhinagar as part of the Gujarat Vikas Gaurav Yatra flagged off on October 1 by party chief Amit Shah.
The BJP machinery has already slipped into an intense campaign mode in the state, with scores of Union ministers, including Arun Jaitley, Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj, having already camped in the poll-bound state.Modi has so far undertaken two high-voltage visits to Gujarat in October.
