Bhutanese King Jingme Wangchuck to pay four-day visit to India

King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, will arrive here on a four-day visit today.

NEW DELHI: King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, will arrive here on a four-day visit today.
 
On November 1, he will meet Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
 
The Bhutanese King, Wangchuck, will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day.
 
On November 2, Wangchuck will call on Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.

The visit would provide an opportunity to both the sides for reviewing the entire gamut of bilateral cooperation.

The visiting dignitary is also scheduled to meet Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
 
He will conclude his visit on November 3.

Early this month, Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar had also travelled to Bhutan and held talks with the King
