SHIMLA: An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale was felt in Himachal Pradesh early on Friday, an official said here. There was no loss of life.

The low intensity quake was recorded at 2.35 a.m., the Meteorological office told IANS. The epicentre of the quake was in Kinnaur district, bordering China.

Earlier, an earthquake of similar intensity was recorded in Shimla district on May 22 at 6.05 p.m.
