KOCHI: KPR Gopalan Memorial GVHSS, Kannur, got the better of Leo Thirteenth, Thiruvananthapuram 4-1 in the Vision India Project-Kerala under-13 state schools football league at the Maharaja’s College Stadium on Wednesday.
Forward Arjun KA (9, 29, 43, 51) scored all four goals completing his second hat-trick in a row. Ludser Das scored the consolation goal for Thiruvananthapuram in the 50thminute.
In the second match, Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Malappuram beat Sacred Heart HSS, Ernakulam, 4-2 with Abhijit K (1,33,35,44) scoring a hat-trick. For the losers, Prejith Menon (32) and Jackson KL (47) reduced the margin.
In another match played on Tuesday, the Ernakulam team defeated Government Boys HSS, Thrissur, 2-1. Akshay N Joshi (12 and 26) scored for the winners while Roshan Raju (10) pulled one back for Thrissur.
