While top seed Sriram Balaji eased past compatriot Lakshit Sood, second seed Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan staved off a stern defiance from Sidharth Rawat. The day, though, belonged to the unseeded Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Garvit, who stunned better-seeded Keith Patrick Crowley of South Africa and Vinayak Sharma Kaza respectively.
